I would like to extend a tremendous thank you to my Brother in Christ, Bruce, for coming to Nevada, sharing his time and expertise in spreading the Gospel of Love with in our community. I was absolutely excited with the personal stories Bruce shared with us, and knowing that those who were there felt the same!
Bruce purposely walked us through the community survey project, sharing lots of vital information. It was obvious his years in the survey business gave him all the vital tools realizing not only the questions to ask, but how to ask them is equally important! The questions are designed to be non-confrontational yet extremely helpful, which eases the minds of those church members who are not comfortable going door to door, or have had a bad experience in the field. I hope and pray that using these surveys will open doors to a new era of service to our communities through Jesus Christ.
The “Think Tank” idea is also great as it involves community leaders in finding areas of service we could use to help our community. The book fair idea is great. I know there were several success stories from the Union students using the Magabooks. All in all, I really felt the seminar was a great success. May God continue to bless him in this ministry!
